This is very disturbing and will make you angry for many reasons. You have been warned.

According to Time, 17 students at Gloucester High School (Mass) are pregnant. Out of the 17 girls nearly half have admitted to signing a pregnancy pact. The oldest amongst the girls is being reported to being only 16 years of age and at least one of the fathers is a 24 year old homeless man. It should also be noted that many of 150 young teens who took pregnancy test at schools onsite clinic that a large number of girls who signed the pact responded with high-fives and began excitedly planning for their baby showers when confirmed that they were indeed pregnant.

Gloucester High School has a student body of 1,200 that has nearly four times the pregnancy rate than the previous year. Some critics are blaming the schools open policy for promoting their free on-site day care center and the lost stigma that use to weigh heavily on pregnant teens. It is being reported that mothers with baby strollers "mingle seamlessly in school hallways among cheerleaders and ROTC students." While others have blamed movies such as Juno and Knocked Up for over-glamorizing young unwed mothers.

And people wonder why I'm so happy to be having a boy.
